🔒 Refund Policy & Service Terms - Appliance Repair Xpert

At Appliance Repair Xpert, we are committed to providing safe, professional, and reliable appliance repair services. By booking a service, you agree to the following terms.

💳 Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to schedule your appointment.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the service.

  • A 3% processing fee applies to all card payments.
     

🔍 Diagnostic Fee

  • Standard diagnostic fee: $85

  • FREE if you proceed with the repair

  • If the technician arrives and service is declined, the $85 fee must be paid
     

❌ Refund Policy

Refunds are limited and handled under strict conditions:

  • Refunds may only be issued if the technician is unable to complete the repair due to their responsibility

  • All refund decisions are made solely by Appliance Repair Xpert

  • If payment is refused after service or visit, legal action may be taken
     

🔧 Parts & Repair Responsibility

  • If issues arise after service, the client must contact Appliance Repair Xpert directly

  • The original technician will evaluate and determine the best resolution

  • We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party repairs or interference


🔩 Customer-Supplied Parts

  • If the client provides their own parts:

    • The technician is responsible for labor only

    • Appliance Repair Xpert is not responsible for part quality, defects, or compatibility

    • No warranty applies to customer-supplied parts
       

🛠️ Warranty

  • 30-Day Warranty on Parts and Labor

  • Covers only the specific repair performed

  • Warranty is void if:

    • Another technician works on the appliance

    • Damage is caused by misuse or external factors

    • The issue is unrelated to the original repair
       

⚠️ Technician Safety & Right to Refuse Service

Our technicians have the full right to protect their safety:

  • Technicians may refuse or stop service immediately if they feel:

    • Unsafe

    • Threatened

    • Harassed or abused in any way

  • In such cases:

    • Service may be denied without refund

    • Payment may still be required depending on the situation

    • Appliance Repair Xpert reserves the right to take legal action if necessary
       

👶 Client Responsibility & Safety Liability

  • Clients are fully responsible for:

    • Their children

    • Pets

    • Themselves

    • Anyone present at the property

  • During service:

    • The work area is considered a hazard zone

    • Clients must ensure no interference with:

      • Tools

      • Equipment

      • Electrical components

      • Active repair area

  • Appliance Repair Xpert is not liable for injuries or damages caused by:

    • Entering the work area

    • Touching tools or equipment

    • Ignoring safety instructions
       

📅 Appointments & Communication

  • Clients must be reachable by phone prior to arrival

  • If no response is received:

    • Appointment may be automatically canceled

  • Missed or unconfirmed appointments may require rescheduling
     

📍 Service Area

We service:

West Hartford, Bloomfield, Manchester, Vernon, Farmington, New Britain, Newington, Wethersfield, Avon, Simsbury, Plainville, Bristol, Southington, Kensington, Berlin, Rocky Hill, Unionville, and surrounding areas.

  • All services are based on visible conditions at time of inspection

  • Appliance Repair Xpert is not responsible for hidden defects or pre-existing issues

  • Repairs do not guarantee full restoration of older appliances

  • Clients must provide accurate and honest information about issues
